Protected by Spirit. Aligned with Love. Rooted in Prayer.
At AyaWaken Church, our ayahuasca ceremonies are sacred religious observances — not retreats, not wellness events, and never for entertainment. Every gathering is held in alignment with our sincerely held spiritual beliefs and protected by the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA), the First Amendment, and applicable state religious freedom laws.
All of our ceremonies are intentionally limited to 12–15 participants to preserve the spiritual integrity and energetic clarity of the space. This size allows for:
This is not a specialty — it is our standard. In our tradition, healing moves best when the field is calm, sacred, and uncluttered.
Each ceremony is held in reverence and guided by trained spiritual ministers who have walked this path in prayer, discipline, and apprenticeship.
For those lodging with us, check-in begins at 4:00 PM on Friday. This time is set aside for you to settle in, clear your mind, and begin preparing in stillness and prayer.
At 7:00 PM, all guests whether lodging or not — are asked to arrive inside the ceremony space to prepare their spot and begin aligning with the sacred container.
Our preparation meeting begins at 7:30 PM, where we will review the structure of the night, the nature of the medicine, and guidance for spiritual safety and navigation.
If you are not lodging with us, we kindly ask that you bring a blanket and pillow for your comfort during the night.
• Ceremony begins at 8:00 PM and often continues into the early morning
• The container is held in prayer, icaros (sacred songs), and silence
• Each participant drinks only when called — nothing is rushed
• Fresh fruit is offered at the conclusion (typically around 2:00 AM) to gently ground the body and spirit
• Integration circles and spiritual support follow each ceremony with fruit.
This is not performance. It is communion.
For those feeling called to a more intimate experience, we also offer private ceremonies for individuals or small groups (such as couples or families). These are held with the same sacred protocols and protections, and may include additional time for personalized prayer, integration, and support.
