Preparation is an essential part of the journey. How you arrive shapes what you receive.
Spiritual Preparation
• Spend time in prayer or meditation each day
• Reflect on your intention
• Be mindful of what you consume — mentally, emotionally, and physically
Dietary Preparation
To support your journey, it’s important to focus on your dietary preparation. Avoid:
• pork, red meat, heavy oils
• processed foods, sugar, dairy
• alcohol, caffeine, recreational drugs
• abstain from sexual activity
Start at least 7 days before the ceremony if possible.
Emotional Preparation
For your emotional and mental preparation, consider the following:
• Avoid chaotic or triggering environments
• Spend time in reflection or journaling
• Allow emotions to arise without resistance
• Trust that the process has already begun
What to Bring
If You Are Staying With Us (Lodging Guests)

If You Are Not Staying With Us
• Comfortable, loose clothing
• Journal (optional)

Medications & Health Considerations
Certain medications and health considerations may require additional preparation and review prior to participation. All participants must complete an intake form so we can review your health history and ensure safety. If you are currently taking prescription medications or have important health considerations, these should be discussed during the intake process prior to participation.
Preparation is not about perfection. It is about intention. When you prepare, you honor the process, the space, and your own journey.
Need Additional Support?
If you would like additional preparation guidance prior to participation — we work closely with a trusted specialist who can help guide you.
